Liner notes:
Rebel Revolution includes 27 tracks. The 2CD collection marks the first time that each of the 27 tracks (except "Memphis") have been presented as one extended track, -the vocal renditions fully- mixed with their corresponding version (instrumental) track.
Most of the tracks were previously released only in Jamaica, in limited single pressings on Perry's labels, such as Upsetter and Justice League.
Some cuts came from vinyl sources, therefor lack the clear sound typical of Jamaican Gold CD's. The decision was made to include these tracks because of the historical significance of the material, despite the occasionally inferior sound.
